Joe Bua is so in love with us it’s not even funny.

EW reminds us of a tour of set design elements of Mad Men they did back in October, which I think we missed.

EOnline also posted this really confusing thing, that says “see below” for an exclusive S3 scene, but there’s no, um, “below.”

In yet more EOnline news, their “Tater Tops” awards results are in, and Mad Men wins “Best Grown-up Show.”

People has dish on Christina Hendricks’s wedding plans.

A new cable offering called “MyPrimetime” (spaces between words are so 20th century) includes Mad Men.

Mad Men and Desperate Housewives have revived interest in aprons.

As part of a Mad Men promotion, Variety is offering up its digital archives for 1960–1965.

Monrovia, CA was temporarily shut down for the filming of a Mad Men episode. Basketcase judy brown shares pictures of Monrovia, and says the town has

a preserved downtown that could suit either a 1962-ish setting, the bowl-cut Dick era, or even earlier.

Pre-Emmy nomination news & pre-DVD release news

…I pulled this out of our regular Mad News so it didn’t get stale:

The upcoming release of Mad Men S2 on DVD has everyone excited. It’s an EW pick of the week. Ohio.com describes extras in detail. Playbill’s writer watched it in two days. Gay Wired thinks it’s “devilish viewing.”

Tim Goodman and Robert Philpot each handicap the Emmys, each rating Mad Men as #1 in the drama field. Both men complain about the weirdness of the Emmys; Goodman has a better explanation of the process, but Philpot has a better adjective (byzantine, a favorite of mine).
