Roberta Lipp

Roberta Lipp got her blogging feet wet at Roberta's Voice, a languid document of personal trials and tribulations, which has often been compared with 'that Sex and the City column.' With a strong background in theatre as well as television viewing, she offers a unique insight into the human experience through a deeply personal lens. Also, she's funny. Roberta is or has at some point been: a singer, songwriter, guitar player, voiceover artist, rock radio disc jockey, actor, and improv performer. She plans to produce her one-woman show, Not Available in My Size, once she finishes writing it. Roberta also has a day job. Roberta's music is housed safely on myspace, untouched by human hands.

Jon Hamm at the 2011 NHL Awards on June 22, 2011

“In the era of TMZ, I don’t think outdoor sex is a particularly good idea. It’s one of those things that sound way better than they actually are. There’s something not sexy about all the twigs and bugs and sand. You end up with stuff in places you don’t want it. It always looks better in the well-lit Skinemax version.” (Playboy)

Jon Hamm at the 5th Annual Hollywood Domino Gala and Tournament

“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f**king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” (Elle UK, via HuffPo)

Jon Hamm in the Press Room at the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

“I played Winnie the Pooh in first grade. I was an early adopter of standing in front of people and looking like an idiot.” (Hollywood Reporter)

Jon Hamm at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards

“If you’re going to be pigeonholed, a handsome womanizer is not bad.” (Elle UK)

From The Guardian:

“It is. I mean, the stated career objective was just to work and pay off my college loans(sadly I din’t know about the poor credit unsecured loans back then). Anything else would be gravy. I never wanted to be Tom Cruise or whatever. I just wanted to work on things I liked and to avoid douchebags. Thankfully that’s how it worked out.”
