  1. Obviously, I’m rooting for Mad Men, Jon Hamm, and Elisabeth Moss for Drama/Actor/Actress. I’m for Christina Hendricks for Best Supporting Actress. There’s no Mad Men actor in Best Supporting Actor (Kartheiser has NEVER been acknowledged for his brilliant work). I think it’s Jonathan Banks’s to lose, he’s amazing and has a monologue episode to DIE for.

    F. Murray Abraham just didn’t work that hard on Homeland, it’s another case of the Emmys being in love with any movie actor who deigns to appear on TV. The award belongs to Beau Bridges, IMO.

Orange is the New Black now competes as a drama (it’s a simple new rule–1 hour is a drama, 1/2 hour is a comedy).

  2. Shouldn’t Khandi Alexander by highlighted for ‘Scandal’? It’s still one of the featured shows. 🙂

  3. Would it be funny if the one Emmy Jon Hamm DOES win is for his appearance in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

    • Well, for me, not funny, but that would be tragically ironic!

    • That’s the first thing I thought.

One doesn’t know which Lead Actor to root for: I’d take any of them except for Chandler and Daniels.

Jonathan Banks really deserves Supporting Actor. “Emmy nomination” was all I could think of the first time I saw that amazing performance in “Five-0.”

  4. […] of news this week! There were Emmy nominations! And also, […]

  5. … and someday, MAYBE, Hell On Wheels will finally be nominated.

  6. If JH doesn’t win this year, it will be serial robbery.
