Shelly says: May 31, 2010 at 8:14 pm I'm so happy he's directing! I suspected before I saw the pictures on set that maybe he might get the chance to direct this season, so I'm glad it turned out to be true. Can't wait to see it! 😀 Earlie Ped says: October 22, 2010 at 4:05 pm I really don’t know precisely why there are many people against her. Personally, she’s a nice girl but a little crazy. What is wrong with that? Donna51 says: May 25, 2015 at 9:53 pm I personally think it was the mothering skills that turned everyone against her. She was removed and distant as compared to what we expect in Moms today. But this an accurate depiction of what a lot of mothers were like in the 50-60’s, not that they didn’t like and love their kids, but their interactions and concerns were just sooo different. Her “job” was to be a wife. Tanta says: May 25, 2015 at 6:04 pm Don’t they look gorgeous? I listened to an interview that Matt Weiner gave a few weeks back, in which he addressed the fact that many viewers and interviewers felt that Don was always behind the times in the way he dressed. MW vigorously disagreed, saying it was his intention to make Don and Betty look iconic, classically beautiful and that he had them dressed to reflect that. The picture kinda says it all. Mad Chick says: May 25, 2015 at 9:42 pm Aww, Don + Betty. I think after they broke up and he married Megan, I started “appreciating” Don and Betty’s connection more, for some reason. Weird I know but maybe others can relate/understand. Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
