Have you read the Lipps’ write-ups of Matthew Weiner at the Museum of the Moving Image, and Matt with the cast at Lincoln Center (Part 1, Part 2)? Great stuff.  Vulture was also at the Museum appearance. The Boston Globe and Vulture were both at Lincoln Center.

  1. Hope this isn’t a violation, but the first episode of the new season is titled “Severance” and the synopsis mentions Don making an effort to find a friend that has been out of contact for far too long.

    Let the speculation begin!

    • Thanks. I’d been listening to the MM commentaries (per usual) and was struck by Matt Weiner basically saying Don could never bring himself to rehab. So the contrast immediately occurred to me.
