  1. Hmmm. Unfortunately, the link to something called “Zap2it” re Robert Kirkman “breaking his silence” is not terribly informative. All it knows is that Kirkman retorted that Kurt Sutter is “ranting about things he knows nothing about”. OK. Gee.

    • The key part of the Kirkman item is that he went beyond the pro forma statement he gave when Manzarra left, which I think some took suggesting that Kirkman was really not on board with the dismissal. And of course, it’s another case of Sutter trying to stir up TWD controversy, as he did when Darabont left.

  2. Re: the Mad Men Christmas moments…my fave remains the Santa Roger one, particularly the conga line. I love looking at all the vintage tablescapes/decor…oh, and it was a great episode ;O)

  3. I was just reading one of the “year end” lists for pop culture by NPR, and the list mentioned this, and I liked it.

    39. The hand-kissing (?) (??) scene between Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss on Mad Men. Not everything about this season worked for me as it did for others, but those two are perfect in a room together, always.

    True dat.

    • …and the commentary for “The Other Woman” reveals that Jon was directed to not let Elisabeth’s hand go… and Elisabeth was not told, which caused her reaction.

      • Hamm and Lizzy ARE Mad Men. With a dash of Slatts thrown in, a ‘Joan withering’ (Ode to Deb) here, and there. Need nothing further, cept less “Megan”. Much less.

  4. When is the premiere? Im getttin antsy, grouchy.
MW owes for last season. Here’s hoping S6 is more like the first 4.

  5. Ummmm. Okay, I’ve been away for a while and am behind on news, and perhaps he was in character or something but…did I see a ring Jon Hamm’s third finger on the left hand side in a few photos in the 69 Most Hammable Moments spread?

    • I’m pretty sure those photos with Jon Hamm wearing a wedding ring are from “Clear History,” an HBO movie where Jon Hamm plays Larry David’s former boss. The film was being film in and around Boston (the north shore) during late summer early and fall before Mad Men season 6 started filming.
