Monday, September 13th was the birthday of Megan Henning, who plays Judy Hofstadt. (Betty’s entirely sweet sister-in-law who Betty pretty much sees as the devil incarnate.)
Today, September 17th, a basket of birthday kisses to Michael Uppendahl, who directed these amazing episodes:
– Six Month Leave
– The Arrangements
– Christmas Comes But Once a Year
– The Color Blue
(Michael worked with Matt Weiner on Becker. Oh plus he’s a cutie-pie.)
And a personal favorite, this coming Sunday, the 19th, is Jan Hoag‘s birthday, who gave a lovely performance as Edith Schilling, aka Mrs. Utz.
Happiest of birthdays to all!!!

Judy didn’t strike me as the devil, bu she wasn’t particularly sweet, either. There was no call for her to make a big family scene about the vase after Betty sproke privately to her brother about it.
I thought Judy seemed really, really nice (I don’t remember her making a scene? I just remember she apologized to Betty and said she hadn’t realized that the vase was something Betty had been wanting)
Happy Birthday to all of them!
I am new to this site and am assuming this is a regular post. How kind of you to send out best wishes…everyone likes to be acknowledged especially on their birthdays! All the best and remember don’t eat the candles!
