I found this article on the WordPress site about how to rewrite your “more” text. That’s the text that says “read the rest of this entry,” and then you click on it, and the post opens up. Some blogs have “more” or “read more” or “open up” or whatever. Here’s ours:

Roberta and I are unable to come up with anything witty or useful to which to change our “more” text. So for this week’s Friday Fluff, give us your best replacement text. Any and all entries will be read by, well, all of us, and we may or may not choose one to replace our current text.

  1. Wanna get Madder? Or how about, Get More Mad by clicking here. Or, Get Even Madder. Or More Kisses Here. Or, just plain old, Keep Reading.

  2. It's a little long, but how about:

REQUEST FOR AN URGENT BUSIENSS RELATIONSHIP — I am Ahmed Grema Esq.(san) senior partner of Ahmed & Associates law chambers, a lawyer/attorney to Hamza al Mustapha who was the former chief security officer to the military dictator of Nigeria, General Sani Abacha. Find out more >>

  3. "Our worst fears lie in anticipation".

  4. “Click here to read the rest of what this doofus has to say” …

Oh wait, is this just for my posts, or for everyone?

  5. Keep Moving Forward

  6. Personally, I'd stick with the simple “read the rest of this entry,” or "read more." It's clear and simple, and the site gets a lot of traffic from non-regulars, doesn't it?

  7. "With you or without you, I'm moving on."

  8. "More kiss and tell" ?

  9. Oh well. #7 obviously! Calling out to us, daring us NOT to follow him. Oh Don Draper, how I miss you. When WILL Season 4 ever get here!

  10. You guys crack me up. Especially #3.

  11. I like 5 and 7.

  12. I sorta agree with Melissa (#6), but how 'bout some classic 60's slogans?

    "Try Harder with Avis"

    "Good to the Last drop"

  13. I like "Good to the last drop."

  14. FYI, when you hover over the bookmark this link in a story on the main page, all the bookmark this links get the menu popup underneath, and it doesn't bookmark that article, only the main page. Maybe that should be below the jump.
