My mother was a Pan American stewardess in the early 1960s until I was born in 1964, and I thought the costumes were definitely more Pan Am than which ever carrier Shelley and her friends were suppose to be working for. Airline travel was so different in the 1960s and even in the 1970s. Now, it is like taking the bus! It use to be so glamourous. When we were very young, late 60s and early 70s, my mother always made us dress up to travel. Now, people practically show up in their sweatpants to travel. So sad!~ I loved this episode.
