I missed a birthday!
Sorry, holiday weekend and all.

November 28th is the birthday of Sunny Mabrey, who gave a strong, memorable performance as Shelley, the outgoing and engaged stewardess in Out of Town.
Plus, we have a sister named Sunny, so y’know, extra points.
Day-late birthday kisses to you, Sunny, and much success!

I loved this episode. My mother was a Pan American stewardess in the early 1960s until I was born in 1964, and I thought the costumes were definitely more Pan Am than which ever carrier Shelley and her friends were suppose to be working for. Airline travel was so different in the 1960s and even in the 1970s. Now, it is like taking the bus! It use to be so glamourous. When we were very young, late 60s and early 70s, my mother always made us dress up to travel. Now, people practically show up in their sweatpants to travel. So sad!~

Sorry, I just don’t know where else to vent but here. It’s 9:52 pm Sunday and I am dying that MM is not on in 8 minutes.

The actress in the Amazon/Kindle commercial “Fly me Away” looked very familiar. She is the other stewardess at dinner with DD and Shelley! Not only did she star in the commercial, she wrote the catchy tune.
