I've read rumors that Mattel may do a MAD MEN Barbie and Ken as Betty and Don Draper. Here is my personal OOAK vintage Ken doll prototype for Don Draper:

What a cute idea! I know that we're all supposed to be above the merchandising and the commercialism, but it is a show about advertising. This actually fits in nicely as a novelty item. Not sure if I'd like it to go any further than experiments like this. However, I have adored the Dyna Moe paper dolls for over a year now.

Oy vey…I was hoping Mad Men wouldn't go this direction. I'm actually surprised that Sex and The City didn't have any dolls. The packaging is great but the doll doesn't look too great. I think the doll looks like Joan's husband.

I just can't believe that Mattel hasn't licensed a Mad Men series of Don and Betty dolls in a variety of outfits … dressed up for a Valentine's Day date at the hotel, Roman Holiday, etc.

They're already SO Ken and Barbie! But now that they're divorced, that seems unlikely.

Next, Roger and Joan dolls … Pete and Trudy dolls (in their Charleston outfits)

A few years ago, I was quite tempted by the Mattel "X-Files" Mulder and Scully doll set.
