I have been a lurker almost fr the beginning, fan from episode 1, and am just so sad the season is over. I can't tell you how thrilled I am for all of you to have this moment, and all for good, too. Thank you for sharing with us! There is no way I could have thought about food!

I can't believe I didn't make a conscious effort to smell him. I think–clean? Good? Certainly nothing bad, and no oppressive cologne.

Artemesia, the character Jon played during his guest arc on 30 Rock greeted Tina Fey in their first encounter by sharing he loved to bake and smelled like frosting.
Thanks for the update re: his scent. I keep telling folks there is no detail too minute. I have a friend who once briefly met Ralph Fiennes after a play, and he’d just showered, and he smelled of soap and his hair was still damp. Not bad at all!
