Congratulations on your win, seagirl … and what a class act you are for sharing your great luck with Roberta, Deb, and all of us.
Thanks to all of you!

Now that’s a nice Hamm sandwich.
November 19th, 2009 at 11:45 pm
LOL @ Shelly!
Great pictures, ladies, everyone looks great! He is adorable. Love him!
November 20th, 2009 at 12:54 am
Wowweee. Not to be all shallow, but … is he as Prince Eric handsome in real life as he seems to be?
November 20th, 2009 at 3:51 am
I’m sooooooooo Jellish! So what did you all talk about at lunch? Inquiring minds (and me, too) want to know….
November 20th, 2009 at 3:52 am
Oh and also… seagirl, you’re a hero!
November 20th, 2009 at 6:55 am
Fabulous! Deborah and Roberta, you must be so proud! A basket of congtats to you for this wonderful blog.
November 20th, 2009 at 7:19 am
Please note that Jon, like me, is a closed-mouth-photo-taker.
Sheesh, we’re practically the same person, we’re just that in sync.

zg: Yes.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:24 am
You ladies are livin’ the dream.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:47 am
Fun!! I like the “Hamm” Sandwich comment earlier.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:49 am
BTW, who’s Seagirl? Just one of us regular folks? If so, how did she manage this coup? If she is just one of us rank and file, I’m going to forced, yet again, to examine what LOW ambition I have. “I coulda been a contender”!
November 20th, 2009 at 9:34 am
Nyna, Seagirl is “just” a Basketcase. Whole story here: http://www.lippsisters.com/2009/11/19/we-had-lunch-today-with-jon-hamm/

I have been a lurker almost fr the beginning, fan from episode 1, and am just so sad the season is over. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am for all of you to have this moment, and all for good, too. Thank you for sharing with us! There is no way I could have thought about food!
November 20th, 2009 at 11:17 am
That’s awesome! Looks like it was a lot of fun for you guys.
November 20th, 2009 at 12:05 pm
Sweet, she proclaims with a wee bit of jealousy…
November 20th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
And why in hell am I sitting here blushing right now???? oy…
November 20th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
Did you tell him (ha) that this basketcase asked him the ‘last question’ on the AMC site? Did he care? LOL…
Oh, you kids…!
November 20th, 2009 at 7:53 pm
Ok no one is shallow enough to ask, so I’ll ask. What did he smell like?
November 20th, 2009 at 8:21 pm
Roberta was sitting next to him the whole time! so she’d know best.
No hint of frosting during the good bye hugs, that I could tell. Just good.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
I can’t believe I didn’t make a conscious effort to smell him. I think–clean? Good? Certainly nothing bad, and no oppressive cologne.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:26 pm
Not frosting?
I’m so disappointed.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:32 pm
#21 Roberta…I’m blushing again, thinking about…smellin’ him! LOL! You gals are TOO much!
November 20th, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Yes Anne. That’s what he was. A disappointment.
November 20th, 2009 at 8:56 pm
I was thinking more like “It’s cookies, he smells like cookies, and the smell gets stronger when he’s in heat.”
Don’t all angels smell like that?
November 20th, 2009 at 8:57 pm
BTW thanks for fixing the time stamp…
November 20th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Oh my goodness, I am swooning at the hotness!
It looks like a wonderful lunch, girls. Seagirl, how generous of you!
Someone clue me in on the frosting thing?
November 21st, 2009 at 4:01 am
Thanks for the update re: his scent. I keep telling folks there is no detail too minute. I have a friend who once briefly met Ralph Fiennes after a play, and he’d just showered, and he smelled of soap and his hair was still damp. Not bad at all!
November 21st, 2009 at 6:20 am
Artemesia, the character Jon played during his guest arc on 30 Rock greeted Tina Fey in their first encounter by sharing he loved to bake and smelled like frosting.
November 21st, 2009 at 4:52 pm
#25 dance,
THAT is what I was looking for.
Am mentally sketching you into the group lunch, right now. You had a wonderful time. And as a parting gift, YOU gave Jon a car.
(Artemisia, the “frosting” bit is a line from Jon’s guest appearance on 30 Rock last year. If you haven’t seen it, it is really a look.
My brother and sister-in-law, not Mad Men watchers, now refer to my adorable nephew using terms from that guest appearance. Jakey’s “in the bubble.” Totally fits.)
November 23rd, 2009 at 1:46 pm
Wow, thx for sharing what a great experince for you all.
November 23rd, 2009 at 1:56 pm
Awww, he looks like such a nice guy. You can see it in his eyes.
Man, it’s going to be a loooooooong 9 months or so.
