Alison Brie revisits Red Eye
Alison Brie returned to FNC’s oddly popular late, late night chat show. Although she participated for the entire hour, she was featured in this interview segment, focused mostly on Mad Men.
It is always more difficult to do television by satellite. Alison does about as well here as professional newscasters.

Imagine something funny and witty on Faux! It must be that Allison Brie just carries the light everywhere she goes. She is fabulous.

This is probably the only time I’ve willingly watched anything on FNN!
Alison is effervescent! But I’d love to see a TV interview for MM that didn’t focus on style vs. substance! Anything out there? Seems that only the print interviews have serious content. (Thanks Lipp Sisters for your Excellent interviews!)

@1BornIn50…. W/O getting into the whole Fox News thing (frankly NONE of the cable news networks really do anything for me), for pure belly laughsRed Eye rivals (if not surpasses) Jon Stewart on a regular basis .

Sorry, I meant “Alison.”
Matt M, I couldn’t agree more agree about cable news for lack of news (although I love the Ed Show). I’ll have to check out Red Eye.

Thanks for posting! It occurred to me watching this that Alison would make a great news anchor, if she wasn’t already a talented actress.
She’s so perky and charming and telegenic!

Does anyone else see a little Marlo Thomas in That Girl?
She has a wonderful smile. Trudy is a dark horse. I think she’s going to end up joining SCD&P in some capacity, much to Pete’s uneasiness.

“That Girl?”
I see MTM as Laura Petrie, too, such as here:

@#6 brenda, #7 BornIn50… Re: That Girl!
Hmmm…. It’s not a clear match either way, but I think I see Pete as more Donald-ish than Rob-ish

Therese,
If you want an in-depth MM interview, watch Rich Sommer and Michael Gladis on the Kevin Pollak Chat Show. Takes a bit for Kevin to get started, but it’s very in-depth, drawing in parts from their interviews here with the Lipps.

I love that interview so much. And Kevin gives us mad props, with Rich and Michael agreeing heartily.

Wow, Alison is quite lovely!

Matt M., I was trying to say that Ms. Brie has the talent to be Ann Marie or Laura or anybody … and whatever she does will be memorable. Alison’s really got the goods!
