Last night, I tuned in to watch the 1992 Michael Douglas/Sharon Stone erotic thriller, "Basic Instinct" and who did I see playing a police captain – but a much younger looking Chelcie Ross. I didn't even realize who it was until I heard his voice.

John Slattery performed here on stage a few summers back – I chatted with him VERY briefly before one show, and after another – he and Sam Waterston did “A Long Day’s Journey Into Night”…Terrific stage presence (both of them)… We joked a little about both of us being prematurely ‘silver’ (I’ve got about 5 years on him), and we both attribute it to the Irish sides of our heritage… I have his autograph hanging here on the wall above my computer monitor. I wish I had the opportunity to chat more with him, but I didn’t want to take up any more of his ‘private time’ than I already had.

Deborah: Yup, I was checking for new comments on Rungay's MM recap when I found the bit on V.

Judy S: Much Irish blood in my background, too. At a wedding reception, a speaker remarked that, in our family, the men all get white hair quite early. The women all get different colors of hair!

Project Rungay reviewed the latest episode of V. Beginning with much squeeing about the scene where Mona Baccarin (one of those Whedon actors) tried on various fabulous outfits in a virtual mirror. http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/2009/11/v-s1e02...
