i have been right the last two weeks in guessing the major plot twists. this marks the first and second time i've ever done this, that i recall. lol a friend who watches only when the cd's come out (hates commercials) asked me to confirm what t.v. guide said about last night. i refused and told her that matthew w. liked to plant red herrings. basically, i think she'd be disappointed to know the ending, tho i guess she does already, b4 watching the entire season. i had some concerns early in the season about season III. they've all been put to bed.

SarahM — please take my criticisms of Peggy with a big grain of salt. I’ve never been a huge fan of the character; or maybe more specifically, the screen time and deference the characters is given. But I’m all for grrrrrrrrrrrl power and see why she is so valuable to Don.

Loved that Trudy from the other room moment too — and Sterling saying goodbye to her before she reappeared — and then her showing up with sandwiches and “a cake!” at the end. There were also numerous dandies from Roger last night, though one of my faves was when Don and Cooper walked in on him after he had been speaking with Jane.

Thank you so much for doing the party, Deb and Roberta and thanks to all the Basketwriters and Basketcases for coming out last night!

I am mostly a lurker on here but I live too close to stay home and I am SO GLAD I went in for the finale party! (I am the girl who won the calendar in the raffle).

Iy was just too thrilling to watch the finale sitting 10 feet from Michael Gladis (who was so wonderful and kind to chat with me for a moment and take apic too!)

Thanks, Basket of Kisses for a wonderful evening. Next summer is truly too far away!

#3 Gypsy – Exactly what is was thinking while in a.m. traffic.

#14 Donny – Spot on as much as we've enjoyed these secondary characters they are not crucial. Maybe this is why Ken's story was not so developed. It worries me about Sal, we've not seen him since he left were as Joan kept popping up. Sadly Allison was great with Don.

The core of the show is really The New Sterling Cooper Draper & Pryce, and Trudy. My thoughts about the season was that everyone was at the end of their tether and it was everyone for themselves. Last night's brisk culmination has left me with a huge sense of hope for this NOW real team. They have all invested and have a great many things to gain. Even Cooper has a new found sense of goal & excitement about this adventure.

I am happily excited for S4 rather than worried for S3.

MANY THANKS TO DEB & ROBERTA!!! You have done a wonderful job with the Basket and wish you all the best during the slow season (not that I won't be checking in everyday). I've now made a promise to myself that the series Finale (5?) I will fly back to NYC to meet all of you.
