This week's crystal ball award to:

October 26, 2009 By: Deborah Lipp Category: Season 3, Speculation

Stella, who knocked it out of the park with:

Total speculation: Could it be that Joan will actually be affected by Vietnam more than most employees at SC? Now that Greg’s “just” a doctor contemplating moving to some far-flung place like Alabama to practice surgery, might he be one of the first we see heading to the warzone to (a) be a surgeon and (b) prove what a man he is?

Stella: Wow.

A commenter on Ta-Nehisi Coates blog over at the Atlantic speculated that the sale of SC could result in Duck making a move. Creepy!

[please do not discuss the previews for next week]

Congrats Stella, well spotted. I don't think anyone pictured Joan hitting Greg with a vase, tho. MM still brings the surprises.

I *loved* the vase-to-the-base of the skull! LONG overdue. And I had a hunch re: 'Nam for Dr Greg, too – I just don't get here as often as I'd like to share…

Did I say this is a terrific site? :-)

Kudos Stella-a-a-ah-ah-ah! (tryin' for Stanley Kowalski there)

This is a question to the Observers out there, that pertains to future predictions:

Don parked Suzanne down the street, was he careless enough to park in front of Carlton's house?
Those two scenes – Don leaving the car and the family trick-or-treating at the end – looked to be shot from the same camera position.
Who in here knows the neighborhood?

How long was Suzanne in that car? on that street?

I was thinking the exact same thing as Stella… Also wondering what will become of Joan if he gets inevitably lost in Vietnam for years? Love the reference to “Vietnam if it’s still happening by then”…Oy vey.

For those who like their Joanie 'red hot' ~ whack him girl!

I couldn't remember Stella's name, but I immediately recalled her comment when he said "Army". I dunno; for Joanie's sake I'm kind of rooting for the Viet Cong here. The sooner Dr. Harris gets taken out the sooner she gets her freedom back. I was cheering when she brained him!

#7…it feels so good to watch that over and over again and imaging yourself doing it to someone who wholeheartedly deserves it!

    =)

"Something happen with Dr. Cutup?" Roger gets the best lines

  11. # 11 Ron Says:

I wonder if Greg should talk to Connie before he opens the Hanoi Hilton!

  12. # 12 Stella Says:
    October 27th, 2009 at 4:43 am

Thanks, Deb! Even though I'd had my suspicions, the whole episode was such a shocker that the Army revelation left me slack-jawed too. Two episodes left this season? I refuse to believe it.
