They weren't loving the historical accuracy of the events in Baltimore.

Not that any real fan really cares all that much . It's television fiction, after all.

I think the shorthand exists, but the point is it's very understated and would have a more active role, even just vocabularily speaking, than it does. If I'm interpreting correctly.

Miss Blankenship was taking shorthand notes in the merger meeting. In Three Sundays, there was a secretary in Pete's office (Allison?) taking notes from the meeting there. Pete excused her when Roger stepped in to inquire about Vicky, the prostitute accompanying Marty Hasselbach in the restaurant meeting. They have slipped it in, here and there.

In the EW recap video, I love how they could have cut Pete & Trudy's scene in half and still made the same point, but they had to keep it longer so we could hear Pete say, "Hell's bells, Trudy!"

Will MM Season 3 be airing in England concurrently with the US? Given the British merger with Sterling Cooper it's going to be even more interesting to hear what the British take will be on Season 3–and they loved Seasons 1 and 2.

I love the House Beautiful article! After seeing a bunch of my Grandma's kitchen stuff in Peggy's sister's apartment, I like to freeze-frame shots that have a lot of decor or props and look at all the period set dressings.
