Right. So we don’t have a lot of information. But there will be a screening live in Times Square, and you should come. We will be there. Sunday night, August 16th.
For the Basketcases who’ve been with us for awhile, you were probably expecting a Basket-of-Kisses-hosted premier party. Truth is we’ve never thrown one before–last season it was a finale party that propelled us into legendary party-throwing greatness.
But we were planning one, and booking guests… and then we got wind of this event.
Details to come, as soon as we get ‘em.

Yes. I knew I would find something special going on for the season 3 premiere of the show.
I still remember how much fun the season 2 finale party was last October.

That'll be a sight to see. Sigh, how I wish to dress up 60's-style and stroll along in Times Square. That said, anybody know of anything going on in LA? I mean, it IS where the show is actually filmed…
There is an official premiere, which, you know, you have to be INVITED to (surely the Basket is worthy of an invite), but otherwise nothing I know of. If my place were large enough and not a permanent construction zone, I would have loved to be the hostess with the mostess. But not gonna happen — at least not this year. Anyone hear of any other events in Los Angeles?
Yes, I'm also curious if anything will happen in LA for Season 3. The event for Season 2 was organised by AMC and I emailed them but never heard back.
Target has a darling MM style dress – it's a perfect white sleeveless dress w/ belt, in a thick nubby fabric. Only $39.
I'd forgotten they closed off Times Square to vehicles! I'm on the fence about going down to NYC for this premier…. On the one hand, I'd love to see it on a massive screen, but on the other, MM is such an intimate, introspective experience for me that I'm not sure I want to be smooshed in a throng of thousands when I watch it.
… Then again, my Boston alternative is to be smooshed into a throng of impeccably-dressed young hipsters at Noir.

I was already planning to watch the premiere from our Times Square hotel room, being on our honeymoon and all, but *this* is absolutely awesome!!
