Basketcase brenda asked if the Season 3 poster showed a floating pack of cigarettes (it does). I did a search on “mad men season 3 poster” because I knew somewhere out there was a huge version where I could confirm they were Lucky’s (they are).

Here’s the interesting part: I got a “403 Forbidden” page from Google when I searched, with the following explanation:

I work in search engine optimization, which means I’ve learned a few things about Google. This page means there’s been very high traffic for this particular phrase in a very short period of time.
I can’t help but think that’s good for us.

That's cool. I did a search for "mad men dvd shoes" and got nothing, tho. (Doing my part!)

I realize this is late but the AMC Mad Men site has a video on the how they shot the poster. Jon Hamm did sit in a tank full of water for the shoot. Unfortunately my computer can’t play that particular video but what I did see it goes into how they did it and Jon’s commentaries on sitting in all that water. Just thought I would mention it.
