Go through this Huffington Post slideshow for a pic of Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt at the Independent Spirit Awards.
Or just look here.
And there they are at an Oscar party!
Jon Hamm used to be a cook, and is a better cook than Jennifer Westfeldt. I love him more each day.
Matthew Weiner is going to be the recipient of an honorary CLIO for his work depicting advertising.
Basketcase Jackie linked us up with this little NY Magazine interview with Janie Bryant. I agree with Janie about the most important thing in a woman’s wardrobe!
This article in the Christian Science Monitor explores the emotional complexity of repressed button-down men of the 50s and 60s, specifically citing Mad Men and Revolutionary Road.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

Thank you for the radio interview. I just read Rabbit, Run this past week. As I am obsessed with this show I did connect them. (Especially as the second scene focuses on a pregnant woman smoking and S1 played on our shock reflex about that). Immediately I put it the group of fiction from that late 1950's early 1960s that make it seem like a suffocating hell. Things I want to force feed people who think it was the idyll, for anyone. I think I will read the sequels, eventually.
Of course JH can cook.
And he smells like frosting.
Also, Janie Bryant takes a very nice photo of Janie Bryant.

I read Rabbit Run in high school, and as a result had a morbid fear, bordering on phobia, of drowning my child. Bath time was terrifying for me.
