Basketwriter Hullaballoo linked us up in comments with some Mad Men Revue photos. But they’re too good to leave there: Here they are on top.
AMC links us up with Jon Hamm on 30 Rock and on Conan O’Brien.
This fabulous BBC News article takes an in-depth look at Mad Men style, both fashion and design.
Colin Hanks is going to be on Broadway with Jane Fonda.
Poor Mark Kelly! He finally shows up in a Mad Men photo and is identified as “Paul Kinsey.” Alas. Despite that, you’ll want to read this smart London Mail review.
Bryan Batt is riding in the pre-Mardi Gras parade on February 23. So cool.
Bryan is also going to be in a special production of Legends! at NYC’s Town Hall on March 23.
Basketcase Karl sent us this very cool interview with Elisabeth from the Gothamist. Lots of stuff in it you won’t read elsewhere.
Basketcase Natalie sent along a scan of a great article/photo shoot about Christina and January. Yes, I’m doing first names now. Like you don’t know who I mean.
The Guardian writes all about the phenomenon of blogging about Mad Men without once mentioning the Basket. Huh.
OK Magazine has a short interview with John Slattery. There’s not a lot to it, but it’s nice that John gets the spotlight for once.
The Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel has this item:
The ad men who inspired (and consulted) for AMC’s “Mad Men” – Josh Weltman and Bob Levinson – are in town for a talk sponsored by the United Adworkers at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Eisner Museum. Admission is $10 for Adworkers members and $15 for others.
“Ad men who inspired”? What?
The recession hits Lionsgate, Mad Men’s production company, with a third-quarter loss of $93 million.
The Apartment is being shown in Ypsilanti, Michigan and the local paper recommends it for Mad Men fans.
Apparently, there were Twitter awards! And apparently, the big news of the night was the revelation of the secret identity of @PeggyOlson.
In his critical review of Elsewhere, U.S.A., Gerry Canavan contrasts the author’s nostalgia for male privilege with Mad Men’s more jaded eye.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

1. The MMR photos are all kinds of awesome. More pics of Julie, Alison and Crista looking adorable, in particular. Plus Christina's on-stage cameo, and Maggie in a non-fug afterparty dress. Janie Bryant dolled up as well. And Flava Flav! What are the odds that the one non-MMR related celeb caught at the show would be Flava Fav!?
2. The mag scans of January and Christina are insane.
3. To be fair, The Guardian was covering the MM Twitter story. Obviously they could not have covered actual MM blogging w/o mentioning BoK.
And as Jon Hamm recurs on a Valentine's Day-themed 30 Rock tonight, I must link you to Golden Fiddle.
Christina at the Revue: hubba hubba!
A sane reaction (from Red Hot Riding Hood): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvsfcfGdj6o
I love the spread with January and Christina, it would be cool if a fashion magazine like W did an edgy spread with the cast. They're all so photogenic…
LOL, Tom. And you gotta love that Red Hot Riding Hood is singing "Daddy," which is the same song Alison Brie sang in the Revue.
Thanks Karl!
I'm all set for a second helping of frosting …
Blah! I'm so tired of articles referring to Talia Balsam as "George Clooney's ex-wife." They've been divorced now for 15 years. Time to move on peeps.
That's definitely not her claim to fame, thank you. Ugh.
/rhetorical rant
