And by a coincidence, Jon Hamm was also a guest on Gilmore Girls rerun on ABC Family tonight — he was Lorelai's boring date. Hard to believe!
Sepinwall didn't dig the ep (early commenters disagree), but still loves him some Hamm and went for the same quote I did.

But here come the confessions:
I watch "30 Rock" for Alec Baldwin. I think he's the funnist man on TV right now. He's embraced his age by letting his inner imp come out and play, and he is wonderful.
My husband watches for Tina Fey. This is as it should be. She is adorable, her writing is terrific (even that thing about Jon Hamm and the paper plate, on Conan? Priceless), and her supporting cast is stellar. She's a smart chick with the generosity to let other people shine. You can't not love her.
All of that said, it was great to see Jon again last night … even if I was watching for Alec and my husband was watching for Tina, Jon was definitely the icing on the cake.

Did anyone actually watch the Grey’s episode? I only have one DVR and it was occupied with 30 Rock, but would have enjoyed seeing the lucky Ms. Westfeldt in action.
She was charming, as always. She always plays a sweet, ditzy, neurotic girl. Typecast or one-note? Dunno. But she’s very enjoyable.
