I don’t watch House, but the cast looked great tonight. I may have to borrow my bro’s DVDs.

Don’t get me wrong; I have seen most of SS’s movies on their release dates. But the DeMille Award serves the exact purposes I mention in #92. The HFPA and Dick Clark are not dumb.

I always forget Spielberg directed that Night Gallery segment. It was chilling. I saw it initially when I was pretty little, and it was entirely memorable. She buys Tom Bosley’s eyes, leaving him blind, so that she can see for like 12 hours. And then there’s a blackout, but she doesn’t know, she just think it failed.
Wait. Am following this correctly? Tina Fey was slamming online folk? The online community was called out, and we’re naming names?

The whole Mad Men cast looks so glamorous tonight, it will make a great image onstage.
I never saw that episode, but my husband has. He feels it’s one of the best Night Gallery episodes.
Okay I am genuinely moved by the love Drew Barrymore exudes for Spielberg. I mean, think about it. Talk about the sweetest of surrogate fathers.
So if MM wins and MW does not give a shout out to BoK, I will feel cheated.

Congrats to Mad Men on well deserved win! I think Jon and January were robbed, but I'm biased. In reality, there are several deserving actors and actresses and it's subjective.
I think January looked stunning tonight. Her outfits always have a daring, original twist to them. Her dress tonight was classic enough for an awards ceremony, but different enough to have personality. Loved the light blues on several women tonight.
I thought Tina Fey was hysterical with her shout out to the mean, obsessed internet posters.
Yay for Mad Men.

While I love Kate Winslet and think she deserved both her wins, I feel like she really stole MM's thunder because of her wayyyy too long acceptance speech. That gossip girl just spit out the nominees so fast, there was no build up! In any case, the win is awesome. Now all my friends that haven't watched the show might finally listen to me!
I cannot believe Anna Paquin won over January. Really? Really?
Another hometown connection: I went to high school with the guy who played John Quincy Adams in John Adams.
