Kiernan Shipka’s birthday surprise

November 02, 2008 By: basketofguests Category: Actors & Crew

So guys, November 10 is Kiernan Shipka’s (Sally Draper) 9th birthday. She’s got a fan club, and they have a birthday project organized.

It’s set up to receive messages and stuff, but the deadline was awhile ago. Which is a little confusing. Regardless, Brooke, the organizer, will link to this post and all its comments, and pass it along to Kiernan and her mom. Apparently they do check out the Basket from time to time.

So let’s get things started by saying Kiernan, we think you’re remarkable. Not just beautiful but so fresh and honest and adorable. And by adorable we mean, really, really easy to adore. You’re a terrific actress, and it’s kind of cool that you are part of a show that will never be forgotten.

Have the happiest of birthdays and a spectacular year.

Kisses!
Roberta and Deborah Lipp

    Happy Birthday Kiernan!

You are an amazing actress, and you play Sally so adorably well, that the screen is a little brighter in all your scenes.

I hope your birthday is filled with lots of fun, laughter, great presents, and really good cake.

    Kiernan.

I can’t get you a nice playhouse like Sally got on the show, but I can give you my very best wishes for a happy birthday. I hope you get a better cake than you got on TV!

Be very proud that you are doing a wonderful job playing Sally on one of the best shows ever on television.

    Dear Kiernan,

I was just telling someone recently about the terrific young actress who brings Sally Draper to life. You brought both humor and drama to the show this season, and you have a fine career ahead of you.

Wishing you a very happy birthday and many happy returns.
