Wow! You and Deborah are so lucky to have Matthew Weiner come over to your party. Now I am really jealous. I do very much hope you and everybody who attended had a fantastic time at the party. I, myself, had a little party of my own, even though it was just me, I totally sat down and watch the entire season finale twice! I could not stop watching it. It was, in my opinion, the best episode of the season.

hullaballoo, I was too tired to call you after they left (we were packing up and debriefing and transporting), and while they were there, I never went for my phone. You know when you don't want to cry because you're afraid you won't stop? I didn't want to start texting people because I was afraid I'd never stop!
Wow, huge coup for you to have Weiner to attend your party! I am sure he realizes how important the core audience is to the long term success of the show. Having the AMC suit there as well just drives that home even more. I hope you all had a great time!
This is my first post on the site. Kudos for what you are doing with the blog. I am late to the party, but I have thoroughly enjoyed going through the open thread posts to glean insight into the shows. This is a great forum to engage in a discussion on a very well done show.
I know it must take a huge amount of time and energy to run the site. The quality equals that of the show itself. Thanks for all you do- and have a great hiatus!
I'm so excited for you all! Congratulations on your party with Matt Weiner and an AMC VP attending. How great for you! Look forward to your interview and insights and hopefully some pictures. I really appreciate your blog as I'm sure many who don't post do also. It's like a stained glass window with many pieces that make one great work of art.

It's funny talking about Theano as a "suit." She is so relaxed and laid-back and fun to be with. She was just an asset to our party even without being the one who provided party favors for every guest (thank you!).
The viewing party was a lot of fun and it's great to try and match real people to their BASKETCASE names. Roberta and Deborah were wonderful and gracious hosts of the event and Mr. Weiner really does appreciate that viewers LOVE the show that he's created and brought to life.

I cannot BELIEVE I missed that…it totally blows having a job where I have to get up at 4:45am (I left at halftime)…but at least I won the contest (even if I was wrong about “Maidenform”).
It was so much fun…next year I will hang out in my Ken Cosgrove outfit and wait for Matt.

DH, nothing is confirmed. Yes, he has said in the past that it's his vision. But he is back in pure creativity mode (or working up to it) and simply isn't committing to where that creativity will land him, or the show.
Concatulations. By the way is the idea that each season will jump two years confrirmed or just speculation?
