That’s right, today is our one-year anniversary! Woohoo!
These posts kind of crack us up, because it’s so like us: Roberta with the “what the fuck,” and Deborah digging up info from the Mayo Clinic. Teehe.
But, back on topic. One year ago today, Basket of Kisses was born. We had no idea what we were getting into, we just wanted to talk about television.
In just one year, we’ve moved to a private server and gotten our own domain name, created a Bible, gotten attention from TV Guide, Pop Candy, and Television Without Pity, interviewed two wonderful actors and have a scheduled interview with Matthew Weiner (!), had a contest, and now we’re throwing the very first Basket of Kisses party!
That’s a long way for a couple of sisters talking about television.
What makes it work is you, our Basketcases. We are privileged to have the most intelligent and thoughtful conversations on the Intertubes. And we are having So. Much. Fun.

I wish I could go to the party, but I'm a grad student, which means I'm broke and have no time to go on trips, lol. I had the perfect dress too, but I hope lots of people can make it and that you all have a great time!

Help! My friends tell me I'm addicted to Mad Men and of course, I'm in lust with Don Draper. Sorry, I can't find a local 12-step group in Ossining, NY, where, by the way, thought I might run into Betty and Francine, Rachel, et al., Since I'm on the West Coast, I guess I"ll have to go "cold turkey". Ah, the pain-pleasure induced by MW is over-the-top but come one, (he has a dark side, and is some kind of TV sado-masochist).
Kudos to the talented, brilliant and always enjoyable Sisters Lipp. You rock! (My 17 year old son says that about you ALL the time and he's correct.) So, Rock On, Sisters!
