This just can’t wait for the news.
This Friday, October 17, Jeopardy will have a Mad Men category. Check local listings. SO COOL!
As a tie-in, there’s a Mad Men online game at the same link.

"Freddie Rumson played Mozart on what instrument in Season 2?"
Pants zipper!
What is Pants Zipper?
You guys kill me.
Friday? Between this and Life, I really ought to invest in a Tivo…
You're right Femme1, I forgot the Jeopardy structure…
"Mad Men Blogs for $1,000, Alex"
"The best and most famous MAD MEN Blog named after Peggy's career-making lipstick line in (I forget the episode name).."
"What is 'Basket of Kisses' by the terrific LippSisters, Alex"
"CORRECT for $1,000!"
I'll take "Hobo Codes" for $200 Alex.
Now this $1000 question MUST be asked! …
What does the famous Blog called “Basket of Kisses” refer to in an episode of Mad Men?
Hey guys, remember Jeopardy gives us the answers, and the contestants have to respond with the correct question.
“Mad Men for $300, Alex.”
“And the answer is ‘the washing machine!’”
“Um…What is Betty’s extramarital love interest?”
“Correct you are, Deborah!”
I’ll take “Repression of female sexuality, alcoholic male father figures and stifling religious metaphors for $500. Alex.”
I'll take "Protagonists who are also Antagonists for $1000"
Well, either that or "Potent Potables"
“I’d like to make this a *true* Double Jeopardy, Alex.
Who is Dick Whitman?”
If they’ve got any of our well-dressed crew giving clues, well then, it’s time to swoon…
I'll take Animals Who Are Also Dinner Guests for $500, Alex.
Other possible categories:
Former Love Interests
Don's Dark Side
Alma Maters
Popular Pitches
and my favorite:
Who's Your Daddy?
Killing me.
I just watched and got all five right. Yay me!
They weren't hard if you're a fan. They had Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, Vincent Kartheiser, and Elizabeth Moss on tape asking the questions (Hamm did two).
Yeah, they were amazingly easy for the obsessed, and there was lots of advertising noise being made (essentially a commercial for the finale).
And, considering that neither MM nor AMC are Sony-connected, getting that much attractive press on J!? Is a coup.
The writers are in love with Ms. Hendricks, and they don’t care who knows it….
