I hate to harp, or brag (okay that is SO not true!) but I really think that when Weiner answered my question on AMC’s live chat the other night, he gave us the key to his characters, and the show overall.
I think that people who want to change get as much credit from me as people who actually do.
He goes on to say many more brilliant and insightful things about people having reasons for what they do, and his not trying to judge that, and people not even really knowing what they want. But that one line says it all for me, really grounds me in Weiner’s viewpoint of his character, and humanity, warts and all.
Thanks, Matt.
Oh! Thought you might want to read the two other questions that I submitted, that Matt did not get back to me on:
1) Is Uncle Mack Adam’s father, or is he the stepfather?
2) Would you and your family like to attend the Lipp family’s seder this Passover? Just so you know, we’d love to have you.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.

OK, I had to read the sentence about change 3 times before I actually got it. LOL! I totally see what he is saying. That seems to fit his MM characters, doesn't it?
Oh, I love your question to Matt Weiner about attending seder at Passover. I thought it was nice of you to ask. Maybe he will answer you later.

Soon you'll have to change the MW quote to: I know you! You're Roberta Lipp! The restraining order says 100 yards! Back!!
LOL@Ms. D.!
Not once he's had my mom's matzoh balls.
