Meant to post upcoming times for the movies Weiner mentions – "The Apartment" and "Best Years of Our Lives."

Accidentally looked up "For Those Who Think Young" – which was last night's title but also a 1964 movie.

Best Years of Our Lives is great, great storytelling. Like Mad Men, it looks at a romanticized moment stripped of romanticism.

Can you imagine if this show goes on through out the entire 1960's. We will get to see history happen. The character's reaction's to Kennedys' and Kings deaths. I was born in 1966 and my strongest memory of history was Nixon's resignation. I will get a lot from watching this show. I think that these "time peace" shows are turning out to be important for people to remember. History is more that 100 years ago. History is even last year.

OMG, He loves "The Best Years of our Lives" That is one of my all time favorites. It's one of the only B&W that can still make me cry!

do you think there's any chance they might put For Those Who Think Young up on the AMC website for web-viewing? I'm overseas for the next couple of weeks and I'm dying to see it! (or maybe an enterprising basketcase will put it up on youtube……)
