The reason we didn’t know about the marathon is because AMC is frickin incapable of promoting itself. Their advertising department must drink more than the boys at Sterling Cooper. Jesus Fuck.
I found Hamm’s hair totally distracting. This is hair done by a man with a broken hand.
The show started its new run last night. You know who knew? Mad Men fans. And maybe four other people who remembered hearing something about it awhile back and then noticed it won some Globes and so they googled it to find out when it might be on and they found our blog which explains clearly when they could catch it.
There was no sweep of promos.
No big announcement on major networks or in newspapers CATCH IT FROM THE BEGINNING.
Dumb motherfuckers.
And you all are correct that AMC does a lame job at promoting Mad Men. An amazing show gets lousy publicity! Even with the GG wins, many people didn't know what the hell the show was about!
